(english follows) He recibido de Dios el regalo de la vida por 40 años. Siento necesario dar la vuelta, ver el camino por el que hemos andado y reconocer que Dios ha intervenido a nuestro favor cuando seguimos su consejo y le permitimos dirigirnos. Hay tanto por lo que tengo que estar agradecido con Él, tanta misericordia no merecida, tanto amor. Una de las maneras en que me ha mostrado su fidelidad y su amor es a través de personas que ha puesto en mi camino hasta el día de hoy. Ahora que llego a esta marca significativa bíblicamente, quiero reconocer en unas pocas líneas a esas personas que aún viven hoy y han sido instrumentos de Dios para bendecir mi vida profundamente y la de mi familia. Son personas a quienes tengo que agradecer el amarme y tenerme paciencia. No han sido pocos mis errores, sin embargo el amor ha sobrepasado incluso las diferencias, les honro por su amor a Dios y a quienes les rodean.
Es obvio que no estaría aquí sin mis padres, han sido y siguen siendo la influencia atemporal más grande de Dios para mi. No caben las palabras para mencionar todas y cada una de las grandes y pequeñas cosas que han hecho por mi todos los días. No sería quien soy hoy sin ellos. Con Pablo E. Zuniga por muchos años vivimos en mundos diferentes y hablamos diferente idioma, pero soy su hijo y nada podrá cambiar mi amor por él y mi gratitud a Dios por ello, por su amor a veces incomprendido, por darme el regalo de la música, y por tener una amistad renovada. Te amo. Mi madre Amanda Peregrina con quien tengo tantas cosas en común ha sido una heroína, mi apoyo y fan número 1 lo cual es recíproco. Es un ejemplo vivo de esfuerzo, perseverancia y fidelidad a Dios y a los suyos. Me has dejado la meta muy alta y te lo agradezco infinitamente.
No hay palabras que describan el amor incondicional y abrumador de LeeAnne Worre Risk. Es un refugio en la tormenta, una luz de Dios. Me mostró que hay esperanza para el perdido ¡incluyéndome! Me recordó que para el Padre hay valor en cada persona sin importar cuan menospreciada sea. Me acogió en su casa y me alimentó más que con comida con amor una y otra vez. Me abrazó y por eso estaré siempre agradecido.
Marcos y Miriam Witt impactaron y dieron dirección a mi vida radicalmente con un amor y pasión igual de radicales por engrandecer y dar a conocer a Cristo. Marcos me dio ejemplo de lo que significa esforzarse más allá de lo humano por dar a conocer el nombre de Jesús y ministrar el amor y consuelo de Dios en cualquier lugar, en cualquier momento y bajo cualquier circunstancia. Su determinación a mantenerme cerca y formar algo de Dios en mi me sostuvo y encaminó. La delicadeza y fortaleza de Miriam y la forma en que nos abrazó a Claudia y a mi y permitió ser parte de su familia fue más que un regalo. Por siempre gracias.
McCauley y Silvia Howard abrieron su hogar y su vida incontables veces y nos dieron un ejemplo a Claudia y a mi de que es posible tener un pedazo del cielo en la tierra. Nos enseñaron con el ejemplo como tener una familia cimentada en la palabra de Dios, en el respeto y apoyo mutuo. Nos mostraron con sus acciones lo que es creer e invertir en la vida de otros. Aprendimos siguiendo su ejemplo, gracias.
Emanuel y Angie Gutierrez nos extendieron una mano y nos recibieron con amor y hospitalidad en su casa y en su congregación. Nos permitieron ser parte de la visión que Dios les ha encomendado junto con sus papás/suegros Alfredo y Margarita Gutiérrez a quien extiendo mi gratitud. Para nosotros fue un tiempo de transición, un desierto donde reencontrarnos con Dios, recibir instrucción de Él y ustedes estuvieron ahí, nos permitieron el ser diferentes y más, permanecieron como nuestros amigos y les honro. Gracias.
Lo que Mark y Haley Shead son y han hecho por nosotros va más allá de lo que significa ser un amigo, les consideramos familia. Su amor, paciencia, amabilidad, respeto e integridad son extremos. Su búsqueda por el desarrollo personal y de quienes les rodeamos es un reto constante y fuente de inspiración. Estando cerca o lejos espero poder contar con la bendición de su amistad por toda la vida. Mark te admiro brother, we love you guys.
La Biblia dice que delante de las canas hemos de ponernos de pie. Dios me bendijo poniendo un hombre canoso en mi camino ejemplo de firmeza, fidelidad y convicciones arraigadas profundamente en la palabra de Dios y a la vez amor, compasión y servicio al prójimo admirables, hoy es una rara combinación. Edwin y Leticia Orriols han sido firmes, amorosos y pacientes como un padre ayudándonos a regresar a casa, al origen de nuestra fe. Nos han indicado el camino de regreso a casa, a nuestra verdadera identidad en Dios como su pueblo escogido. Nos han amado, hospedado y enseñado mucho. Espero darles mucho de que estar orgullosos trayendo a otras ovejas que andan dispersas. Mi familia y yo les amamos.
1Co.15:58 Por tanto, mis amados hermanos, estén firmes, constantes, abundando siempre en la obra del Señor, sabiendo que su trabajo en el Señor no es en vano.
Gal.6:9 No nos cansemos (No desmayemos) de hacer el bien, pues a su tiempo, si no nos cansamos, segaremos.

I’ve received from God the gift of life for 40 years. I feel necessary to turn, see the path that we have walked and acknowledge that God has intervened in our favor when we follow his advice and let Him lead. There is so much I have to be grateful for to Him, such undeserved mercy, such amazing love. One of the ways He has shown me his faithfulness and love is through people that have been on my way up to this day. Now that I come to this biblical significant mark, I want to acknowledge in just a few lines those people who are still alive today and have been instruments of God to bless my life and that of my family deeply. They’re people who I have to thank for loving and being patient. My mistakes have not been few, but love has surpassed even our differences, I honor them for their love to God and those around them.
I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my parents obviously. They remain to have the largest timeless influence from God for me. There are not enough words to describe each and every big and little things that they have done for me every day. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. Me and my father Pablo E. Zuniga lived in different worlds and spoke a different language, but I’m his son and nothing can change my love for him and my gratitude to God for it, for his love sometimes misunderstood, for giving me the gift of music, and for a renewed friendship. I love you. My mother Amanda Peregrina with whom I have so much in common has been a hero, my No.1 fan which is reciprocal. She’s a living example of effort, perseverance and faithfulness to God and her kin. You have set a very high goal and I thank you infinitely.
There are no words to describe the unconditional and overwhelming love of LeeAnn Worre. She’s a refuge from the storm, a light of God. She showed me that there is hope for the lost one, including me! She reminded me that each person no matter how despised is of great value for our Father. She welcomed me into her home and fed me with more than just food, with love again and again. She hugged me and I will be forever grateful.
Marcos and Miriam Witt had a profound radical impact on me. They lead me to a radical love and passion to uplift Christ and make Him known. Marcos gave me an example of what it means to strive beyond human capability to share the name of Jesus and minister the love and consolation of God anywhere, at any time and under any circumstances. His determination to keep me close and form something godly in me held me and gave me a heading. The delicacy and strength of Miriam and the way she embraced Claudia and me and allowed us to be a part of her family was more than a gift. Thanks forever.
McCauley and Silvia Howard opened their home and lives to us countless times and set an example to Claudia and me that you may have a piece of heaven on earth. They taught by example as a family founded on the word of God, respect and mutual support. They showed us with their actions what it is to believe and invest in the lives of others. We learned following your lead, thank you.
Emanuel and Angie Gutierrez extended us a hand and greeted us with love and hospitality at their house and in their congregation. They allowed us to take part of the vision that God has entrusted them along with their parents/in-laws Alfredo and Mago to whom I extend my gratitude. For us it was a time of transition, a desert where we reconnect with God, receive His instruction and you were there, allowed us to be different and even remain as our friends. I honor You. What Mark and Haley Shead are to us and have done for us goes beyond what being a friend means, we consider them family. Their love, patience, kindness, respect and integrity are extreme. Their search for personal development and that of those around them is a constant challenge and inspiration. Being close or far I hope to have the blessing of your friendship for life. Mark I admire you bro, we love you guys.
The Bible says to stand before the hoary. God blessed me by putting a grizzled man in my way, example of firmness, faithfulness and convictions deeply rooted in the word of God along with admirable love, compassion and service to others, a rare combination today. Edwin and Lety Orriols have been firm, loving and patient as a parent helping us to return home, to the origin of our faith. They have pointed out the way back home to our true identity in God as His chosen people. They have loved, welcomed and taught us much. I hope to give them much to be proud of by bringing other sheep who walk scattered. We love you.
1Co.15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
